Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation hosts four major fundraising events during the year. We welcome sponsorship, volunteers and participation in any of our events to help us support quality health care at Skagit Valley Hospital.
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation will hold its 12th annual Have a Heart for Kids benefit dinner at 6 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Il Granaio Italian Restaurant, 100 E. Montgomery St. The event sponsored by TRICO Contracting, Inc. and Il Granaio Restaurant includes a six-course Italian meal hosted by Il Granaio owner/chef Alberto Candivi. $100 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Therapy Program at Skagit Valley Hospital. For tickets and event information, call the Foundation Office at 360-814-5747..
The 12th Annual Par Tee Golf Classic will take place on June 19, 2015 at Skagit Golf & Country Club. The tournament was played in scramble format.
This event raises funds to support quality health care services and programs at Skagit Valley Hospital. Over $57,000 was raised in 2014, and proceeds from this year’s event will support, the Foundation’s Cancer Care Patient Assistance and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.

The Gail Edward Iverson Circle of Friends and the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation in partnership Collins Fisheries and Skagit Bank presented “Camp Sunshine" dinner and auction at Maple Hall in La Conner on July 24, 2014. The event raised more than $21,000 to benefit the Wound Healing center at Skagit Valley Hospital.
On Friday, September 12, four local “iron-men” hiked more than 25 miles to the seven lakes in the Chuckanut Mountain range in seven hours to support the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center Project at Skagit Valley Hospital. Participants Kevin Bingham, Ed Perry, Todd Power and Kelly Schols dedicated their challenge to the memory of Heather Schols, Kelly’s wife. To date, the Seven Lakes team has raised nearly $15,000 with the generous support of gifts from individuals, families and local businesses. The 26th Annual Festival of Trees presented by the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation in partnership with Associated Petroleum was held Thanksgiving Weekend 2014 and raised $310,000 to benefit the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at Skagit Valley Hospital.
