Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon expanded in 2007 and features private patient rooms throughout, from the Level III Trauma Emergency Department to the well-appointed Family Birth Center. The hospital offers a full range of surgical services, advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and PET, and a spacious Center for Sleep Disorders.
Skagit Valley Hospital is home to the area’s only cardiac catheterization labs and offers advanced heart and vascular care. Skagit Valley Hospital leads the way in comprehensive cancer care and is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which brings together the talents and research power of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.
Skagit Valley Hospital received five-star ratings in nine key clinical areas and is a Top 100 hospital for 2012 in joint replacement, orthopedics and prostatectomy, according to HealthGrades, the nation’s leading health care ratings firm.
In 2010, the hospital added Skagit Regional Clinics to the growing list of services, with more than 100 physicians and allied health professionals providing primary and specialty care in nine locations in north Snohomish, Island and Skagit counties. In addition, Cascade Skagit Health Alliance in Smokey Point, WA, a medical clinic provided in partnership with Skagit Regional Health and Cascade Valley Hospital, offers a wide variety of services including urgent care.
