The Need: Hemodialysis Machines for the Skagit Valley Kidney Center
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation’s Board of Trustees at their annual board dinner in May 2015 committed to raise $415,000 to purchase 27 new hemodialysis machines for the Kidney Dialysis Center.
The current machines are at their end of “useful” life and require expensive repair. The new kidney dialysis machines are extremely efficient, require less set-up time and also provide more efficient use of product. The new generation of machines also feature unique safety features and provide improved reliability.
Why to Give
This is an opportunity to touch many lives. The dialysis machines are needed by our kidney dialysis team to continue to provide quality care for the patients of our region, regardless of their ability to pay.
