New Anacortes location
Skagit Regional Clinics’ Anacortes office has a new location on the Island Hospital campus. The office is located at 2511 M. Avenue, Suite D and is part of the Island Hospital Medical Office Building. Skagit Regional Clinics currently offers cardiology, dermatology and pulmonology in Anacortes.
The new location offers a variety of benefits to patients. Its proximity to Island Hospital provides easy patient access to additional services. The facility provides greater clinical space to more comfortably care for patients and will allow Skagit Regional Clinics to offer additional specialty services in Anacortes in the future.
“Our new location will allow us to further enhance our comprehensive cardiology services to patients in Anacortes and surrounding areas,” said Sanjeev Wasson, MD, practice lead for Skagit Regional Clinics – Cardiology. The group of nine physicians is based in Mount Vernon, with service five days a week in Anacortes and several days a week in Arlington, with access to the area’s only cardiac catheterization labs located at Skagit Valley Hospital.
Skagit Regional Clinics is a multi-specialty medical group that has served area residents since 1971 under the name Skagit Valley Medical Center. In 2010, SVMC merged with Skagit Valley Hospital and took the name Skagit Regional Clinics. Today the medical staff has expanded to include more than ninety physicians and allied healthcare professionals in 20 medical specialties caring for patients in Skagit, Island and North Snohomish counties.
