Skagit Valley Hospital’s Regional Cancer Care Center, which opened in December 2006, offers state-of-the-art cancer care -- including radiation oncology, chemotherapy and complementary therapies -- in one, well-appointed facility on the hospital's Mount Vernon campus. A second site, located within Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington opened in 2007.
The Mount Vernon facility occupies the entire first floor of a three-story medical building across the street from the hospital emergency room.
The new facility and comprehensive program along with the hospital’s accomplished staff, including our board-certified oncologists and 100 percent nationally certified oncology nurses, creates a state-of-the-art center. Our staff provides highly compassionate and quality care.
Patients benefit from comprehensive cancer care in one location, plus easy access and close proximity to the full range of diagnostic testing, surgical services and acute care available at Skagit Valley Hospital. We partner with the Breast Care Center for screening, diagnosing and breast cancer treatment. Click here to learn more about cancer-fighting foods with registered dietitian Lou Kupka-Schutt, PhD.
