Theodore Kim, DO, medical oncologist, accepts check from Safeway, Inc. for The Breast Institute.The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation has received several generous grants from Safeway Inc. to launch The Breast Institute at the Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center.

With sincere gratitude, the Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center and the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation thank Safeway for the recent contribution of $150,000 to support The Breast Institute at Skagit Valley Hospital. This brings their four year gift total to $750,000. We appreciate the true spirit of giving shown by Safeway, its customers and employees; who join us in believing the opportunity to find a cure of breast cancer exists in our lifetime. The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation that acts as the official gift-receiving agency for Skagit Valley Hospital. The sole mission of the Foundation and its’ Board of Directors is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality health care services and programs through Skagit Valley Hospital.
