Meet Your Team
At The Breast Institute we approach treatment as a collaborative, multispecialty effort. Our breast cancer team meets weekly to discuss patient care. This means all your breast cancer doctors - from your radiation oncologist to your surgeon to your medical oncologist - get together in the same room to formulate a treatment plan personalized just for you.
Most cancers are treated with drug therapy to kill dividing cancer cells.
Radiation oncology specializes in treating cancer using radiation therapy.
Radiologists work with your doctors to determine the best imaging tests for your treatment.
Our surgeons work with your doctor to provide surgical treatment or reconstructive surgery.
Dominique Dailly is Skagit Valley Hospital
Regional Cancer Care Center’s patient
navigator for The Breast Institute. She is
the friendly voice, listening ear and advocate
for each newly diagnosed breast cancer patient,
ensuring that patients get the appointments
and support they need in a timely way. She also
helps patients locate resources, not only
about their disease but about the importance
of nutrition, exercise and attitude in
the outcome of the disease.
