Surgery

Edwin Y. Chang, MD, FACS, is a surgeon with Skagit Regional Clinics – Mount Vernon. Dr. Chang specializes in plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery. He has been on staff at Skagit Valley Hospital since 2013. He is a graduate of University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency at University of Michigan Health System.

 

Michael Erie, MD, is a board-certified general, vascular and thoracic surgeon with Skagit Regional Clinics in Mount Vernon. He graduated from New York Medical College and served a surgery residency at University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Erie's specialty areas include endoscopic, abdominal/thoracic surgery, cancer surgery and vascular reconstructive surgery.

 

Mark Johnson, MD, a general, thoracic and vascular surgeon with Skagit Valley Medical Center, is the Surgical Medical Director for the Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center. Dr. Johnson is also appointed by the  American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as Cancer Liaison for the Skagit Valley Hospital Regional Cancer Care Center. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Washington Medical School. He served a general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center where he also was Chief Resident and Fellow in general surgery.

 

Joshua Hawkins, MD, is a surgeon with Skagit Regional Clinics – Mount Vernon. Dr. Hawkins specializes in General, vascular and trauma and critical care surgery. He has been on staff at Skagit Valley Hospital since 2012. He is a graduate of the New York Medical College, and completed his residency and internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center.

 

Morris Johnson, MD, is a board-certified general, thoracic and vascular surgeon with advanced training in laparoscopic surgery at Skagit Regional Clinics. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He served an internal medicine residency at University of Utah and a general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Hospital.

 

Steven Lee, MD, is a general surgeon with Skagit Regional Clinics Surgery - Mount Vernon.  He joined the staff in 2012 and is board certified. He received his medical education at Tufts University in Boston and completed his general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His specialty areas include upper and lower endoscopy, hernias, gallbladder, breast, laparoscopic surgery and varicose veins.

 

Bruce C. Skinner, MD, is a surgeon with Skagit Regional Clinics - Mount Vernon. Dr. Skinner specializes in general, vascular and thoracic surgery including endoscopic, abdominal, thoracic surgery, cancer surgery, vascular reconstructive surgery. Dr. Skinner also has a special interest in breast pathology. He has been on staff at Skagit Valley Hospital since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
