Skagit Valley Hospital offers inpatient-nursing units featuring telemetry, medical, surgical, orthopedic, oncology and pediatric services. Below is a description of each of our acute care floors.
 

Patient care area at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WAFIRST FLOOR - ORTHOPEDIC AND SURGICAL CARE
Serving orthopedic, surgical and oncology patients.

SECOND FLOOR - PROGRESSIVE AND CRITICAL CARE
Serving patients with cardiovascular illness and issues, patients on ventilators, post cardiac cath patients and inpatient dialysis.

  • Blood gas lab

THIRD FLOOR - MEDICAL AND PEDIATRIC CARE
Serving patients with acute medical conditions, including strokes, cellulitis, dehydration, pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, hematology, palliative care and child patients two months to adolescence.
