David M. Mourning, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon with Skagit Northwest Orthopedics in Mount Vernon. He treats the entire spine, encompassing cervical to lumbar and sacral conditions including disc herniations, stenosis, scoliosis, and fractures. Dr. Mourning performs minimally invasive procedures such as discectomies and kyphoplasties as well as traditional open reconstructive surgery with laminectomies and fusions for degenerative conditions of the spine. He finds nothing more rewarding than watching a patient regain their quality of life after surgery.
