Call to Artists - 2015
Sentinels by Susan Cohen Thompson, Camano Island
The Skagit Regional Health Fine Art Program, with the support of the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation, is continuing its commitment to installing fine art in our care areas. This is an ideal opportunity for either emerging or experienced artists who would like to further develop a piece/pieces that will engage patients and complement the calm, healing environment of our clinics.
The Skagit Regional Health Fine Art Program announces a call to artists for an art installation at the Skagit Regional Clinics in Stanwood and on Camano Island.
An honorarium will be awarded to each selected artist. A budget of up to $1,000 per area (two care areas in the Stanwood Clinic and the lobby of the Camano Island Clinic) has been allocated for this project.
The Skagit Regional Health Fine Art Program seeks artists or artist teams to submit artwork for the Skagit Regional Clinic in Stanwood and on Camano Island.
Stanwood clinic installation - We are looking for representational artwork that depicts/symbolizes the beauty and charm of the Stanwood area. A series from a single artist will be considered.
Camano Island clinic installation – we are looking for representation work that depicts/symbolizes “life on the Island."
Installations will be in the public reception lobbies of each clinic.
