Cooking Class: Anti-Inflammatory Farmer’s Feast

Many chronic diseases are related to inflammation in the body. In this class with the dietitians from Skagit Valley Hospital, students will learn how to incorporate the bounty of local produce into daily meals to decrease the risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and more. A diet high in fruits and vegetables will provide increased fiber and antioxidants while adding a splash of color and flavor. The menu includes a super berry smoothie, massaged kale salad, trio of skewers - vegetable, meat, and fruit, and grilled peaches with almond cream. Please call 360-814-2424 to register.
